This piece is a nostalgic nod to composition notebooks and the freedom they gave me as a child. I used to fill them with stories and words and poetry that told the truth and reality of my existence at the time. I’ve lived many stories since and still give thanks for the lessons they’ve taught me as I also look forward to the lessons that will surely continue to come as my story plays out.
