“Mama Tierra” is an ode to Mother Earth. This piece was created to represent the richness of the earth through the inclusion of gold leaf throughout this round canvas. Hidden under the paint is more gold that is not visible to the naked eye, just as the earth is full of uncovered treasures, not meant to be disturbed by human eyes or greed. The way the colors blend into each other, provide the eye with imaginative wonder.
